The Pony Power Grooming Backpack
If you’re looking for a kids grooming kit that’s easy to carry, the Pony Power Grooming Backpack is a rucksack style kit made of polyester. It has a transparent plastic body, coloured shoulder straps, a handle and a zip. Inside you’ll find a brush, a rubber curry comb, a plastic curry comb, a horse-shaped sponge, a hoof pick and a mane comb. Apart from the sponge, everything comes in matching colours.
The Pony Power Grooming Box
The Pony Power Grooming Box is a well-filled brush box with a clear lid, a coloured handle and a removable tray. It holds 11 litres and is made of polypropylene. It includes a Sarvis curry comb, a curry comb, a body brush, a comb, a sweat scraper, a hoof pick, a sponge, a braiding comb and a hoof oil brush. Again, everything except the sponge comes in matching colours.
Which Grooming Kit Is Right?
Both kits give young riders what they need to look after their pony. The backpack is the one to choose if you’d like a kit your child can carry on their shoulders, while the box holds more tools in one place, with nine in total compared with six in the backpack. Helping Young Riders Learn to Groom
Grooming is one of the first things children learn around ponies. A curry comb helps loosen mud and dirt, a body brush smooths the coat afterwards and a hoof pick cleans out the hooves. It also gives children quiet time with their pony before or after a ride, which is a big part of building confidence.
