We hope you and your little rider love your Inky Dinky product. However, if you need to return an item, please read the policy below.
Our 30-Day Returns Policy
We offer a 30-day return period from the date you receive your order.
To request a return, please email us at enquiries@inkydinkysaddles.com with your order number, the item you wish to return and the reason for the return.
For our extended 30-day returns policy, items must be returned unused, in their original condition, with all tags and original packaging where possible. Saddles, bridles, clothing and other equipment must not have been used, ridden in, worn or fitted to a horse or pony.
Please contact us before sending an item back so that we can provide the correct return instructions and help ensure your return is processed promptly. This does not affect your statutory cancellation rights.

For returns from countries outside the UK, Europe and the USA, please contact us before posting your item so that we can confirm the correct return address.
Return Postage
For change-of-mind returns, including where an item is unsuitable or the wrong size has been ordered, return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer.
We recommend using a tracked and insured postal service, especially for saddles and higher-value items. The customer is responsible for the returned item until it reaches us.
Where an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, please contact us before returning it. We will work with you to resolve the issue and arrange or reimburse reasonable return costs where appropriate.
Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order when it arrives and contact us as soon as possible if an item is damaged, faulty, incorrect or missing.
Email enquiries@inkydinkysaddles.com with your order number, a description of the issue and clear photographs where possible. We will assess the issue and arrange the appropriate solution, which may include a repair, replacement, exchange or refund.
Exchanges
For a size exchange, please contact us at enquiries@inkydinkysaddles.com before returning the item.
Once the original item has been returned and inspected, we can arrange the replacement, subject to stock availability. If the replacement product is a different price, we will either refund the difference or send an invoice for the additional amount due.
UK and European Union Cancellation Rights
If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom or European Union and purchased your item online, you usually have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason.
To cancel, please email us at enquiries@inkydinkysaddles.com with your order number and a clear statement that you wish to cancel your order. You then have a further 14 days to return the item to us.
During this period, you may inspect the item as you would in a shop. However, you must not use the item beyond what is necessary to inspect it. We may make a deduction from the refund if an item has been used or handled beyond this level and has lost value as a result.
For cancelled orders, we will refund the item price and the cost of our standard outbound delivery service. Return postage costs remain the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.
Certain items may be exempt from cancellation rights where they have been made to a customer’s specifications or are clearly personalised. This does not affect your rights if an item is faulty, damaged or incorrect.
Refunds
Once we have received and inspected your return, we will notify you by email to confirm whether your refund has been approved.
Where a refund is due, it will be issued to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned item or evidence that it has been sent back, whichever is sooner.
Please note that banks and card providers may take additional time to process and show the refund in your account.

One-Year Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty

This One-Year Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty applies to eligible Inky Dinky Saddles products.
It should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions of Sale and Website Use, Returns, Refunds and Exchanges Policy, Shipping and Delivery Policy, and any product-specific care or safety instructions.
The company providing this warranty is the relevant Inky Dinky company identified as the legal seller at checkout and in your order confirmation.
Nothing in this warranty affects, limits or replaces any statutory consumer rights that apply in your country, state or place of residence.
1. Our Warranty
We provide a voluntary one-year limited manufacturer’s warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
This warranty applies to new, Inky Dinky-branded products purchased from Inky Dinky Saddles or an authorised retailer, unless a different warranty period is clearly stated on the relevant product page, product packaging or order confirmation.
The warranty period begins on the date that you, or a person you have nominated, takes physical possession of the product.
Proof of purchase is required for a warranty claim.
2. What Is Covered
This warranty covers faults in materials or workmanship that arise during normal, intended use of the product.
Examples may include a manufacturing or material fault affecting the proper function, safety or structural integrity of an Inky Dinky product.
For saddles and riding equipment, this may include faults affecting the product’s intended adjustment, fastening or functional components where the product has been used, maintained and stored in accordance with our care and safety guidance.
3. What We Will Do
If a valid warranty claim is accepted, we will assess the most appropriate solution.
Depending on the nature of the issue, we may choose to:
- repair the affected product or component;
- provide a replacement product or replacement component;
- offer an equivalent alternative where the original product is unavailable; or
- provide a full or partial refund where repair or replacement is not possible or appropriate.
For accepted warranty claims, we will provide return instructions and will arrange or reimburse reasonable return costs where required by applicable law or agreed with you in advance.
Please do not return a product before contacting us and receiving return instructions, unless we have asked you to do so.
Any repair or replacement provided under this voluntary warranty does not restart the original one-year warranty period, unless required by applicable law.
4. What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
- normal wear and tear from ordinary use;
- cosmetic wear, scuffs, scratches, fading, marks, creasing, leather grain variation or changes in appearance that do not affect the product’s function or safety;
- routine cleaning, maintenance, conditioning, adjustment or replacement of worn parts;
- damage caused by accident, impact, misuse, neglect, abuse, improper assembly or use outside the product’s intended purpose;
- damage caused by incorrect fitting, incorrect adjustment, inappropriate use or failure to follow supplied care, safety or product-use instructions;
- damage caused by inadequate cleaning, unsuitable cleaning products, damp storage, mould, excessive heat, prolonged sun exposure or improper storage;
- damage caused by a repair, modification or alteration where that repair, modification or alteration caused or contributed to the fault;
- products that have been used after damage or a safety concern became apparent;
- loss, theft, accidental damage or damage caused by animals, weather, transport or circumstances outside our reasonable control;
- the cost of third-party work, saddle-fitting appointments, travel, veterinary costs, riding lessons, competition costs or other consequential expenses, unless we have agreed to these costs in writing or applicable law requires otherwise; or
- products purchased second-hand or from an unauthorised seller, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
Use of a third-party repairer, accessory or replacement part does not automatically void this warranty. However, we are not responsible for faults or damage caused by an unsuitable repair, alteration, accessory or replacement part.
5. Saddle Fit and Ongoing Suitability
Horses, ponies and riders change shape, size and requirements over time.
Although Inky Dinky Saddles are designed to be adjustable, this warranty does not guarantee that a saddle will remain suitable for every horse, pony or rider in all circumstances.
It remains the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the saddle and all related equipment are correctly adjusted, checked regularly and remain suitable for the individual horse, pony and rider.
A change in fit caused by growth, weight change, muscle development, ageing, changes in condition or incorrect adjustment is not, by itself, a manufacturing defect.
Nothing in this section affects your legal rights where a product is faulty, unsafe, not as described or not fit for its intended purpose.
6. Care and Maintenance
To help maintain your product and prevent avoidable damage, please follow the product-care guidance supplied with your purchase.
As a general guide:
- check all equipment before every use for signs of wear, damage or loose components;
- keep products clean, dry and stored in a suitable dry environment;
- wipe synthetic saddles clean with warm water and avoid detergents or harsh cleaning products;
- clean hook-and-loop fastenings regularly so that they remain effective;
- clean and condition leather saddles with a suitable leather balm or conditioner; and
- stop using any product that appears damaged, unsafe or no longer functions correctly.
Failure to carry out reasonable care and maintenance does not remove your legal rights, but damage caused by inadequate care or storage may not be covered by this voluntary warranty.
7. Making a Warranty Claim
To make a warranty claim, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible after noticing the issue.

Please include:
- your name and contact details;
- your order number or proof of purchase;
- the product name;
- a clear description of the issue;
- photographs or video showing the issue, where possible; and
- details of how the product has been used, cared for and stored.
We may ask for further information or request that the product, or the affected part, is returned for inspection before deciding the claim.
For safety reasons, do not continue to use a product where you believe there may be a structural, fastening or safety-related fault.
8. Third-Party Products
This warranty applies only to eligible Inky Dinky-branded products.
Products made by other brands may be covered by the relevant manufacturer’s own warranty, guarantee or returns process. Any product-specific warranty will be identified on the relevant product page, packaging or documentation.
UVEX products are covered directly under UVEX’s applicable warranty terms. We will still do our best to help you identify the appropriate warranty process where needed.
9. Your Legal Rights
This voluntary warranty is provided in addition to your legal rights.
For customers in the United Kingdom, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.
For customers in the European Union, consumer goods are generally covered by a minimum two-year legal guarantee for lack of conformity, subject to the law of the customer’s country.
For customers in the United States, this warranty is intended to be a limited written warranty and does not exclude any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under federal or state law.
Nothing in this warranty excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or defective products where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
